Everything you say feels so distant to me. — Kuyō The game or media this article is about was never released in English, and most of the information here was likely directly translated from Japanese. This may also make it harder for non-Japanese people to add information to this page. Reason: This is an Oni exclusive to Toukiden Mononofu, a game that was never released outside of Japan, making it very hard to get any information on it. |
Hah! Call yourself Adedakini? I'm not even getting a sweat up. — Sōma This article is a stub. You can help the Toukiden Wiki by expanding it. |
Adedakini are large Oni introduced in Toukiden Mononofu, first appearing in the Age of Chaos. They are also the game's mascot.
Description[]
Appearance[]
Adedakini are large, female Oni with a scorpion-like body covered in a brownish-red shell. Their head and torso have a fairly humanoid shape, with pale skin and four horns, two on the top of their heads, and two much larger ones on the sides. They have six long legs, two arms with massive pincers and a tail with a sting. When they enter a rampage, their arms, legs and tail are regenerated and have orange, lava-like markings over them: the pincers turn into claws and the tip of the tail becomes a spiked sphere.
In the opening cutscene for Toukiden Mononofu, one of them is seen to be capable of transforming into a human girl with gray hair and white robes.

Trivia[]
- Adedakini are the only female Oni to be the mascot of a Toukiden game.
- It is likely that the Adedakini's fake form represents a Buddhist nun, constrating with the demonic creature they get their name from, the dakini, which is also present in Buddhist mythology.
