Chiba Shūsaku is a Space type Mitama introduced in Toukiden: The Age of Demons.
Description[]
1793 - 1856
The master swordsman who founded the Hokushin Ittō-ryū style. His training school, the Genbukan, was counted as one of the three greatest schools at the end of the Edo period. Saitō Yakuro's Renpeikan was known for power, Momonoi Shunzō's Shigakukan was known for popularity, but Chiba's Genbukan was known for skill. Many students went on to become important figures such as Kiyokawa Hachirō, the founder of the Rōshigumi, predecessor to the Shinsengumi, as well as Yamaoka Tesshū, who was instrumental in bringing about the meeting between Katsu Kaishū and Saigō Takamori, and Yamanami Keisuke, general secretary of the Shinsengumi. Shūsaku's younger brother taught Sakamoto Ryōma the Hokushin Ittō-ryū style.
