Chthonian Fiends are the eleventh large Oni introduced in Toukiden: The Age of Demons, first appearing in the Age of Honor. They are also the game's mascot.

As long as there are Chthonian Fiends around, the Oni menace will continue to spread, and the Awakening will return once more. Appearance[]
Chthonian Fiends are large, humanoid Oni with orange skin and a muscular build, with some bulging veins visible on their arms and torso. They have dark gray hair, two blood-tipped horns, two large fangs on their lower jaw and small white eyes, with blood spilling out from the left one. Their arms and legs are covered in tough armor and they wear an armored loincloth. They also have a long tail with many spikes on the tip. When they enter a rampage, they walk on all fours and their arms, legs and tail are regenerated, gaining a magma-like texture. The tip of the tail also becomes larger and rounder, resembling a lotus flower.

- Both arms and legs and the tail can be severed and purified. The legs and the tail can also be completely destroyed in Toukiden 2.
- The horns and the beads on its chest can be permanently broken.
