Shadow Souls are the twenty-first small Oni introduced in Toukiden: The Age of Demons, first appearing in the Age of War and being the variant of Blazing Souls.

| A white Blazing Soul that resides in the borders between dimensions. An extremely rare Oni, they require the Eye of Truth in order to be seen. Their remains are rich in Haku, and the materials harvested from them are extremely valuable. There are reports that they have even trapped the souls of fallen heroes. 燃え盛る炎に包まれて宙を漂う小型の“鬼”。普段はあまり動かず、周囲を 伺うような行動を取ることから、物見のような役割を担っていると考えられている。 強力な火炎を吐き出すため、不用意な接近は命取りになる。[1] | |||
