Mahoroba Village

Mahoroba Village is the main base of Toukiden 2, located in the west of the Midlands. It offers a few more facilities than Utakata Village.

A village deep within the mountains that serves as the setting for this story. After the Awakening, it became the western front in the battle against the Oni for the Midlands. Currently, the commander of the Slayers in the village has gone missing, thereby promoting the local Shrine Maiden to the role of leader.

Toukiden 2 (in-game)[]

One of the Slayer Villages. It is located in the far west of the Midlands. It is located directly adjacent to the lands controlled by the Oni, making it the village on the front lines of the fighting.

Facilities[]

Protagonist's house: Here you have access to your equipment and materials chests, a table to read letters on, a lectern to view the story and listen to the soundtrack and a hearth to advance time. The default capacity of your chests is 300 materials and 100 pieces of equipment, but it can be increased by completing their respective quests.
Blacksmith: Here you can use materials and Haku to create, fortify or reforge weapons and armor. Reforging equipment that can be created normally will cost less materials than creating it. Sometimes, the wandering blacksmith Kiyomaro can appear behind the smithy.
Shop: Here you can buy and sell weapons, armor and materials. Some materials are exclusive to the shop, such as Tenko food and machina circuits. You can also check the condition of the supply routes for each Age, which safety can be increased by defeating a certain number of Oni there. Once an Age's route is classified as safe, it will stay that way and Age-specific materials will be available for purchase.
Shrine & Restaurant: Kuon is in charge of the Shrine and the restaurant. Here you can use materials and Haku to order food made of Oni parts and activate food boosts, use sacred branches to pray at the Shrine, or select specific party members to take with you to the open world.
Command Center: Kazue or Tsubaki are in charge of the Command Center. Here you can accept missions and Ruin explorations.
Repository: Here you can undergo training sessions to learn how to use weapons, Mitama skills and the Demon Hand.
Portal Stone: You can use it to teleport to any other Portal Stone you have activated or to play with other players in phase missions. When you encounter other players in a lobby, you will trade player cards, allowing you to see each other's stats and progression level, and to take a double of each other's character in future multiplayer missions.
Carpenter: Here you can send Piko the machina doll to collect materials in various regions. You can also repair it when it is damaged, enhance it or give it a different brain circuit.
Professor's house/Machina Lab: You can use the Machina Fusion Cauldron to turn building materials into smithing materials. Depending on the rarity and the intended result, the success rate can vary.
Pool of Purity: You can pay an entrance fee of 800 or use pool entry cards to bathe in the pool. Your resistance to miasma will be temporarily increased and you will gain a Purification Skill for one mission only. Many other characters will occasionally show up at the pool. If they are the opposite gender as your character and your bond with them isn't strong enough, you will be kicked out of the pool.
