Snaggwens are the twenty-second large Oni introduced in Toukiden: Kiwami and the second Oni exclusive to DLC missions. They first appear in the Temple of the Phoenix.

| An insect-like Oni with a hard shell, they are mentioned in records dating back to the Slayers' foundation. Related to the Viper Queen and Venom Queen, they resemble them in appearance. They hide in the earth, absorbing Haku from plant roots to use as their power source. With much of the territory now belonging to the Otherworld, sightings of this Oni have become frequent. 全身が硬い外殻で覆われた、蟲のような姿の“鬼”。「モノノフ」創設期の文献に、その名が見られる。 ミズチメ、カガチメと同属で、その原種に当たる存在。地底に潜み、植物の根からハクを吸収し、自らの力に変える性質を 持つ。 今大戦で異界化が進行した結果、頻繁に現れるようになった。[1] | |||
