A large Oni with massive fin-like arms that they use to burrow through the ground and perform powerful attacks. They also utilize a sliding attack while on their stomachs, during which they use their fins to control their bodies. Accordingly, when fighting against a Terragrinder, it is recommended to concentrate on destroying their arms first. [1] |
Appearance[]
Terragrinders are large Oni resembling a mix of a mole and a turtle. They have brown skin, white eyes, a large tooth in their upper jaw and a long horn with two smaller horns in the sides. They have two large, serrated fins for arms, two legs with three claws each, and two long fins sticking out of their backs. They also have a black shell covering these three parts, as well as the sides of their heads. When they enter a rampage, their legs and fins are regenerated, having seemingly layered protection.
Combat[]
Destructible parts[]
- Both fins, legs and the back fin can be severed and purified. The fins can also be permanently destroyed in Toukiden 2.[5]
- The horn and the tooth can be permanently broken.
Attack techniques[]

Attacks[]
- Raises one of its fins and slams it on the ground.

- Stands up and runs towards its target, then pounces on it.
- Digs up a rock with its mouth and throws it. Hit targets may be stunned.
