Utakata Village is the main base of Toukiden: The Age of Demons and Toukiden: Kiwami. It is a village in the east of the Midlands, home to powerful Slayers such as the protagonist.

Slayer's Headquarters[]
- Command Center: Yū is in charge of the Command Center. Here you can accept missions and quests.
- Repository: Yamato is in charge of the Repository. Here you can undergo training sessions or view the medals you have received.
- Research Center: Shūsui is in charge of the Research Center. You can read his encyclopedia to view useful info such as the resistances and weaknesses of large Oni you have defeated. After completing Chapter 6 in Toukiden: Kiwami, you can also take on infinite missions and special investigations.
- Offering box: You can donate Haku to the offering box to earn a boost before going out on a mission. The boosts you can receive from the offering box will differ depending on the type of prayer you offer. Praying often can upgrade the offering box, enabling you to offer even more types of prayers.
Village square[]
- Protagonist's house: Here you have access to your equipment and materials chests, a table to read letters on, a lectern to view the story and listen to the soundtrack and a hearth to save your data. The default capacity of your chests is 99 items, but it can be increased by completing their respective quests. You can also send your Tenko out to the Otherworld or to the village surrounds to collect materials.
- Guardian Tree: You can donate Haku to the the tree in exchange for materials. You can use it once for each mission you complete.
- Blacksmith: Tatara is Utakata Village's blacksmith. Here you can use materials and Haku to create or upgrade weapons and armor. The more you use your equipment, the more the Compatibility level rises. If is at maximum, or if you have soul steel, pure soul steel or exalted soul steel, you can fortify your weapons or armor up to 9 times. The number of Mitama sockets on your weapons may increase if you fortify them.
- Shop: Here you can buy and sell weapons, armor and materials. Some materials are exclusive to the shop, such as Tenko food. Buying or selling items increases your Patronage level, which will allow you to purchase better items as its rank increases. The maximum (golden) rank is achieved when Patronage reaches a value of 30,000.
- Shrine: Shikimi is in charge of the Shrine. Here you can raise the level of your Mitama or return them to their level 1 state. After completing Chapter 5, you can also fuse a Mitama with a weapon to create an even more powerful weapon.
- Pool of Purity: You can pay an entrance fee of 800 or use pool entry cards to bathe in the pool. You will receive a boost for one mission only, and can receive any of a Mitama's boosts (even deleted ones) if you dedicate a bath to it. Many other characters will occasionally show up at the pool. If they are the opposite gender as your character and your bond with them isn't strong enough, you will be kicked out of the pool.
- Portal Stone: There are two portal stones located to the right of both entrances to the Command Center (from your house and from the village square). You can use them to play with other players in phase missions. When you encounter other players in a lobby, you will trade player cards, allowing you to see each other's stats and progression level, and to take a double of each other's character in future multiplayer missions.
